Pilates (Virtual or In-House)

Pilates is an exercise technique that focuses on improving core strength, posture, joint stabilization, balance, and overall strength. It is safe and easy to modify for those with injuries while being extremely beneficial for all levels of fitness, including professional athletes.

At The Perfect Fit, we utilize the Stott Pilates method which is highly recognized by both health professionals and fitness instructors. With the use of a fitness mat and a few simple props (small weights, therapy band, and exercise ball), you can receive a workout that will improve your overall quality of life!

With over 20 years in the fitness industry, 3 years experience with MAT (Muscle Activation Technique) and now with specialized training in Pilates, Julia has the knowledge and experience to place her in an elite category of highly respected fitness professionals.

Here are some tips to make your Virtual Pilates session successful:

• Ability to move camera for visibility during movement on and off floor. (you will be standing, sitting, and lying on floor)
• Have reasonable floor space available for exercises
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• Props such as a theraband, mini stability ball, 1-5 pound free weights, and yoga mat (optional)

Props and sufficient workout space will be provided for all in-house pilates classes.
